My name is Alisa Clydesdale, I'm 14 years old. I was born and raised in Port Alberni. I ride on Sproat Lake; I've spent everyday on the lake since i was born. I grew up watching my cousins wakeboard and wakeskate. As soon as my feet didn't fall out of the bindings, my dad strapped me in, dropped me in the water and threw me a handle. My family and I joined the water sports club and from there I was taught what I know now. i was excited last year after finding out i was on the BC team and again when i was on it this year. I have learned a lot and it showed on the podium. I love the podium, but the only thing that matters is that I have fun. I've always considered my self sportsy and I also play hockey and soft ball. I've been playing hockey for 7 years, I've always loved the competitiveness. I can ski, snowboard and wake surf. i love the adrenaline rush that you get when you realize how high you are in the air. I love the thought of being on the water at high speeds. I'm very grateful of every thing my parents have provided me with, and to make them and myself proud is the most amazing feeling. For people to tell you how proud they are of you, assures yourself you're doing life pretty right.
